People choose to seek out individual therapy for a variety of reasons including relationship issues, feelings of loneliness, the desire for real change, or to manage the stresses of home/work.

Because of my background, I am very interested in how to bring current neuroscience information into the psychotherapeutic space.  I stay current on new developments in neurosciences as it pertains to emotional regulation and attachment.  Since neurons that wire together fire together, we will work on making new connections to change old patterns and habits. You will learn how to hardwire new habits and patterns using evidence based practices.

If you’re looking for a therapist for individual work, you’re probably curious about how that works. If we decide to work together we will find a mutually convenient time to meet and we will meet until you have met your therapeutic goals. I want you to leave knowing you have several tools in your toolbox to use in daily practice.

In my practice I addresses many concerns including:

• anxiety
• depression
• relationship difficulties
• blended families
• LGBTQ concerns
• gender issues
• separation and divorce
• substance use/abuse
• unwanted behaviors and addiction
• intimacy and sexuality
• grief and loss
• anger and feelings management
• trauma
• self-esteem and personal development
